Delhi Subordinate Services selection Board (DSSSB) on 24 August 2017 has released the Important notification regarding changes in the upcoming Dsssb Recruitment 2017. According to the latest changes by Board, the Dsssb Recruitment vacancy for all post code (14/17 and 17/17 to 80/17) of Department of Education are hereby withdrawn.

Ques: For which posts, has the DSSSB withdrawn the vacancies?
Ans: The DSSSB which looks after the Dsssb Recruitment of various posts in the NCT of Delhi had released vacancies for around 15000 posts for TGT, PGT and PRT teachers in government schools along with the vacancies for Technical intakes. The DSSSB has withdrawn the following vacancies which came under the department of Education in its notice dated 24/08/2017.

Ques: Why were the DSSSB teacher vacancy withdrawn?
Ans: The DSSSB Teacher Vacancy were withdrawn because of the conflict of interest between the Government of NCT of Delhi and the DSSSB on the issue of the employing condition of the present Guest teachers. While the Delhi Government wants that the guest teachers be given an additional weightage in the examination in lieu of the services rendered by them in the past three years, while the LG wants only age relaxation to be given to the guest teachers currently employed by the government.
Ques: How many guest teachers are employed in the government schools at this time?
Ans: As per the Delhi Government data, there are about 50000 teachers in the government schools of Delhi and out of them around 17000 are guest teachers. They believe that it would be unwise and unprofessional to not acknowledge their services rendered in the past years.

Ans: The Delhi Government has passed a resolution seeking changes in the advertisement to which effect the DSSSB has for now withdrawn the notification. The DSSSB believes that it is not under the jurisdiction of the Delhi Government to alter the notification and vacancy details and hence both parties might end up in court over this issue
Ques: When is the vacancy slated to be reinstated again?
Ans: As soon as the political will and the jurisdiction of the Delhi Government gets settled, the vacancies will be released again but the candidates should believe that it might take at least 06 months to get cleared and well the government is in the office for another 3 years.
