Importance of English as a Language:
In today’s global word, the importance of English cannot be denied and ignored since English is the most common language spoken every where. English has been playing a major role in many sectors including medicine, engineering and education, which, is the most important arena where English is needed. English is important due to many reasons. It is the need of hour.
1. It helps to communicate internationally.
2. As a major language in universities, English makes accessing information easy for students.
3. English is the language of the latest business management in the world.
4. English is a means not only for international commerce it has become increasingly essential for inter- state commerce and communication.
5. In India, people going from north to south for education or business mostly communicate in English, which has become a link language.
6. The Parliament has also recognized English as an official language in addition to hindi.
7. English poses no danger to Indian languages.
8. It is a means to create a greater opportunity for a job.
9. English helps to improve our standard of living.

Although learning English can be challenging and time consuming, we can see that it is also very valuable to learn and create many opportunities.
