India- Basic Elements:
In our country there are nearly 5,50,000 villages and 2,500 towns and cities. To remove the backwardness of Indian villages, the Community Development Porgramme was inaugrated on 2 October 1952 from Delhi.

1. The proclamation of children’s Right took place in 1959 to secure the basic rights of the children. U.N.O. declared 1979 as the “International Children year.” The ‘Dowry Act” took place in 1961.1ndian population includes 15% Scheduled Castes and 71/2% Scheduled Tribes population. The list of these castes is prepared according to the behest of the President of India. The maximum population of the Gor Tribe is found in M.P and the remaining some part is also in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. The Bheels are in Rajasthan and M.P., the Santhals in Orissa and West Bengal.
2. The four elements of the state are-(l) Government (2) Land (3) People and (4) Sovereignty. But of these four elements most important is Sovereignty. The formation of Democratic Governments were first made in England. The word “Citizen” came into existence from the France Revolution in 1789.
