General Objectives: - Those objectives which are common for teaching any language i.e. to understand the language, to express one’s own views on it and read and write that language.
As a mother tongue -
Language has four forms.
Creative Objective: - A Learner should not learn to cram up instead he should be able to develop his own style of speaking and writing.
Cognitive Objective :- It’s related to mental aspect of the learner i.e. he can use the language to gain knowledge, to provide information, to study literature, grammar and poetry.
Attitudinal Objective: - It is related to the child’s interest i.e. to develop interest in English so that a child can appreciate literature, poems etc.
B. S. Bloom - Benjamin Samuel Bloom was an American educational psychologist who made contributions to the classification of educational objectives.He has classified the objectives of teaching English into three forms i.e.
