The teaching done with a view to correct and to create interest for learning a subject is called remedial teaching. It aims to correct errors of the past and thus, in a sense, prevents future errors. It is conducted only after diagnostic test. Its objective is to remove those gaps which are identified with the help of diagnostic test Remedial teaching is not re - teaching or extra classes Remedial teaching is a source of motivation for students. The number of students in it is very less i.e. 5 to 10 students. Progress of remedial teaching is dependent on correct diagnose of the Problem.
