The CBSE inviting online application for CTET .The test will be in twenty languages in 92 cities. The detailed Information will be available on www.ctet.nic.in and candidates are suggested to read the same carefully before applying. The candidates have to apply online.

CTET Latest Notification
Important information for candidate
The portal is opened for uploading the photograph & signature of candidates who are registered already on or before the last date for CTET Exam but didn't upload their photograph & signature
Now, they can remit their fee through debit/credit card, net banking or E-challan from 30/08/18 to 02/09/18 till 2:00 p.m. all such candidate can complete their online form by uploading photograph & signature within stipulated time. No further extension will be given in this regard.
The candidate is permitted to make online correction during specified period only once. Fee once submitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances for future tests. No change will be accepted through offline mode.
As per the clarification from NCTE, amendment in eligibility criteria for CTET is as under:-
Those, who has already applied for Paper 2 as per the eligibility and deposited the fee for the same, also eligible to apply for paper 1 under the amendment for both the papers. Those, who wants to appear for both the papers can do so during correction period, that is extended by depositing the difference in fee as stated in CTET Information bulletin.
Candidate applying for CTET is required:
- To satisfy eligibility for appearing in examination.
- To submit on-line application candidate has to fill full particulars by accessing the CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
- Complete mailing address with postal pin code at the time of applying.
- Before submission of application form decide the mode of fee payment.
- Keep the confirmation page along with the original copy of E-Challan of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank for future reference
STEPS for the submission of Online Application Form:
Step 1 : Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
Step 2 : GO to the link "Apply Online"
Step 3 : Fill the Online Application Form and note down Registration number/ Application Number
Step 4 : Upload scanned images of latest photograph and signature.
Step 5 : Pay examination fee by E-challan or debit/credit card
Step 6 : Finally Print confirmation page for record and future reference.
Registration Procedure:
Authentication Form: Fill details like State, Identification type (Select any Identity as applicable), Candidate's Name, Date of Birth and Gender
Fill online application form:
- Fill complete online application form and choose password. After submission a registration number or application number will get generate. Note down registration number / application number.
- This number & password will be used for subsequent login.
- Password must be of 8 - 13 characters long. Password must have one uppercase and one lowercase alphabet and one numeric value and at least one special character.
- Candidate is advised to not to disclose or share the password with anybody. Neither CTET nor NIC will be responsible for violation or misuse of password of a candidate.
Online uploading of scanned images:
- Uploading of scanned photo and signature are mandatory.
- Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPEG format.
- Size of photograph should be between 10 KB to 100 KB.
- Image dimension of photograph should be 3.5 c.m (width) X 4.5 c.m (height).
- Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
- Image dimension for a signature should be3.5 c.m (length) X 1.5 cm (height)
Pay Examination Fee:
Fee Details for CTET - 2020 are as follows
- General/OBC : Paper 1/2 (Rs. 700), Paper 1 + Paper2 (Rs. 1200)
- SC/ST/PH : Paper 1/2 (Rs. 350), Paper 1 + Paper2 (Rs. 600)
Mode of Payment:
Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET exams
- Fee account with Syndicate or Canara Bank.
- Payment by Syndicate Bank e-Challan
- Payment by Canara Bank e-Challan
- By Online mode (Payment by Debit Card / Credit card)
Downloading of confirmation page:
- Candidate must have hard copy of confirmation page for record and keep it for their reference.
- Confirmation page is not required to be sent to CTET unit.
The candidate will be personally responsible for any false fact, if candidate does meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the CBSE.

- Candidate must have a printout of confirmation page and e-challan, (if fee is deposited through syndicate bank or canara bank e-challan)
- CTET certificate would not confer employment for the candidate. It is only the eligibility criteria to the appointment.
- Candidate is advised to mention its own mobile number and e-mail id while filling online application form. All the correspondence will be made on registered mobile number and e-mail id only.
