CTET Application Form 2020: The application form of Central Teacher
Eligibility Test has been released by CBSE on 23rd January 2020. The
application procedure of CTET 2020 is online and all aspirants will have
to register for the exam online. The application form of CTET will be made

Who Can Apply for CTET 2020?
CBSE will decide on the eligibility criteria for all the aspirants who
are willing to apply for CTET 2020. The examination consists of two papers,
paper I and paper II. Paper I of CTET is for candidates willing to apply for
the post of teacher in class I-V and Paper II is for those willing to teach
class VI-VIII.
All the aspirants required to check the CTET eligibility criteria
before filling up the application form. Those candidates who do not fulfill the
eligibility conditions will not be able to apply for the exam. Applicants
belonging to the reserved categories will be given a 5% relaxation in the

How to Apply for CTET 2020?
The application process of CTET 2020 is completely online and the
aspirants will have to apply online. The step by step procedure to fill the
CTET online Application Form has been explained below. Candidates can go

Step 1: Log in official portal ctet.nic.in. Find the link
for the online CTET registration.
Step 2: Read all the apply before instructions carefully to
understand the technicalities of the online application procedure.
Step 3: Complete the online registration by filling in the
required details as asked. Click on the submit button to register.
Step 4: In the next step, applicants need to review their
registration page and check all the details if they are correct. Upon final
check, applicants need to finally submit the details.
Step 5: On the next page, candidates need to check their
registration number on the next screen. Applicants need to note the
registration number and save it carefully. This number will be required at
various stages of the exam for login.
Step 6: After successful registration, aspirants need to
fill the online application form. After filling in the required details,
applicants need to click on the submit button.
Step 7: Confirm the details filled in the application form
and click on submit button.
Step 8: Upload the images in the application form.

CTET 2020 Application Form - Correction Window
All the applicants need to ensure that they fill in the correct details
in the CTET
application form. In case of any discrepancy while applying
online, they can correct the details. CBSE allows to correct a few details and
not all the details in the application form of CTET. Candidates need to log in
with their application number and password when the application correction

Applicants need to know that no extra fee is charged for making
corrections in any of the above mentioned details in the application form of
CTET. However the correction window for images opens for a limited time
compared to all the details. The corrections made by the applicants in the application
form of CTET need to be saved before the last date of correction. No changes
will be allowed in the application form after the last date of correction
window.
CTET 2020 Application Form Status:
All the applicants who apply for CTET 2020 will be able to check the
status of their application form once they completed all the steps of the
application procedure. In the CTET 2020 application form status check,
applicants will be able to verify whether the payment of application fee is
successful or not. If the status of application fees is positive, candidates
will be able to print out the confirmation page. The generation of application
form confirmation ensures that the application of CTET 2020 has been submitted
successfully.
In case the applicants have made the payment for CTET 2020 application
fees and the status is still visible as negative, it indicates that the
submission of the application form is not successful. Candidates need to check

Applicants need to note that if
the confirmation page is not generated post the successful payment of the
application fees, they need to contact the Joint Secretary (CTET) CBSE between
10 A.M to 5 P.M, along with proof of payment i.e. copy of challan or online
payment slip.
